Tunica is a small town in northwestern Mississippi very close to the Arkansas border. As of the 2,000 census nearly 1,500 people lived in Tunica. When the 2010 census is recorded, this number will have sizably grown. Tunica features a number of tourist attractions. One of the best attractions Tunica has to offer is the river park. The river park is on the Mississippi river and allows tourists to understand the history of this mighty river. This attraction includes a historic museum, aquariums, and interactive exhibits. One of the best things about the Tunica river park is the Tunica Queen. This vessel provides voyages on the mighty Mississippi. This boat also seats roughly 250 people, so bring your friends!

Tunica takes pride in the variety of outdoor activities. One of the greatest outdoor attractions is the River Bends Links Golf Course. This course is based on a Scottish style course with a par 72 and over 6,900 yards of fairway. Obstructions on this course include lakes, bunkers, and mounds.
